Simply freeze your left over bananas to ensure you have a stash whenever some banana ice-cream is called for…

  • You can leave the skin on (warning it will go black but that’s ok, just remove from the freezer, wait a couple of minutes if you have time or just go for it straight away, and carefully with a sharp knife, cut away the skin.  Or you can remove the skin & freeze in a glass freezer proof container, much easier.
  • Simply mash it with a sturdy fork or whizz in the blender, and hey presto!  Instant healthy banana ice-cream (creamy without the cream or dairy!)

For a Tasty Dairy Free Milkshake…

Bung the frozen banana into the blender, and splash ontop… my easy activated nut milk, (soak nuts overnight, drain, freeze to keep fresh, and grab a handful to whizz in blender with a cup of water, easy as!)

For a Healthier Simple Chocolate Topping…
